Thank you for reaching out to me via email and phone. We are working with The Riverside Club to sort out the details of how we can run our camps while separating our group from the rest of the facility.  Their board is meeting this week to finalize that decision. We are hopeful that we can offer our camp to both Riverside Club members and those that are non-members that pay the seasonal member fee. Assuming all goes well, this is what we are planning:

Camp weeks would begin June 1 and run through the end of July. Our camp capacity would be limited to 16 campers and we would combine Kidzone and Multi-Sport Camp as the same camp. Activities will include tennis, lacrosse tossing, soccer kicking and physical conditioning activities. We will utilize activities that keep the kids separated. We will have a large tent that we will place in an area for the campers to have shade allow them to be separated from the rest of the facility (item 23).  We have eliminated swimming from our program and will utilize a water slide as our water/cool down activity. We will have bins for each camper to separate their items.

Camp capacity will be limited to 16 campers and 4 staff to comply with the maximum of 20 in one group. Camp hours will be 8am to 12pm to half day camp and 8am to 4pm for full day camp. Campers will pay via credit card and will be non-refundable unless there is a doctors note of illness, or the campers place can be filled with a paying waitlist participant. No drop-ins will be allowed unless there is 24 hours notice and there is space available. Our age group will begin at age 6 and above.

We will have all of our camp staff trained with the rules and the regulations of offering camp. We will take temperatures of all campers when they arrive and ask each camper/parent to confirm regarding illness and any Covid-19 symptoms and exposure. We will have frequent hand sanitation and washing and our equipment and restroom facilities will also be sanitized on a regular basis.

In short, we intend to follow all of the rules per the Government order which can be found here (page 23 to 25 is what applies to our camp): https://georgia.gov/search?search=summer+camp+covid+

I would like to have more firm news about our camp to allow you to plan and register but we await the final word of The Riverside Club. As soon as I have information to send to you, I will update you via this email and also on our website.

If you ARE planning to send your child to camp, please let us know. We need a sense of how much interest there is in attending camp, the week or weeks that you are interested in and the age and number of kids you have attending. Use this link here to let us know. We will keep track of this interest and we will hold your spot for registration once we are given approval to open registration.   https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeJvAT2ayKNeooCCGhgSwKtye3RJgyjagu_IlD3fGd3G_uciw/viewform?usp=sf_link

You can always call me with questions and if I do not answer, send me a text which is sometimes easier to reply sooner.

Thank you again for being with us in 2019 and we hope we can see you again in 2020 at NATA.

Be well and stay safe!
